so that was it.

so it ended.
my first day of school for school year 2008-2009 was surprisingly fun and hot. the latter adjective referring to the weather and the former to the events. although, i pretty much trod the day with the ways of a loner, i found it rather refreshing that i was not alone, not alone in being a loner because i knew quite a handful of us who had such a loner day.
anyway, i met this really elegant, interesting, sophisticated at the same time hip and so much fun of a woman-- my marketing 101 professor.
A lady in black entered the room.
She came inside the room with an entourage composed of 2 men and a woman. One of the men looked like her chauffeur, while the other seemed like some sort of technical expert(?-because he didn't look like he was one of Mang Fredy's crew and all he practically did was attach the LCD connector to one of the laptops. take note: LAPTOPS ). Her chauffeur brought in a laptop and another bag. While the other woman who seemed like one of her house maids (with the uniform and all) brought in another laptop bag and then the techy guy who came in with the LCD's remote control and wire.

She had two laptops, a powerbook MAC and some outdated laptop with Windows ME which i assumed was her laptop from way way waaaaaaaaay back and which also gave me the impression that she was one of those few in the past decade who actually used one-- or perhaps not.
a moment of silence.
she came with her entourage and everyone was just looking with surprise and perhaps awe because personally, it was the first time EVER that i had a professor enter the room with an entourage. But her i guess she had a good reason to bring those people with her. She was too sophisticated and elegant to carry all those stuff by herself and come to think of it, she brought in ALOT of stuff. ALOT.
