A Long Fatal Love Chase

Rating:★★★★
Category:Books
Genre: Literature & Fiction
Author:Louisa May Alcott
Last Last week, i had nothing better to do but stay in the Library so i decided to borrow books. i wanted to read some classics. so searched for works written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Louisa May Alcott. I was particularly looking for romance novels. haha. and so i borrowed three books. 2 out of 3 were by marquez but i particularly enjoyed the one by Alcott.

it was a refreshing kind of romance novel unlike the contemporary novels of our time which always has to have those explicit sexual scenes.this one had none of it. very sweetly done. i loved it. it was a literary delight for me.

the story would be quite common but to think that she wrote it in 20's or in the past century (im not entirely sure when it was written) she would have pioneered the plot. what i like about it was the masterful use of words and scenes. it was really refreshing to read another genuine romance novel.

its rather short but every page is pregnant with a lot of the novel's essentials. for me, its a page turner and i particularly loved the ending. it was tragic.

its has its loose ends but the novel was really nice.

i really enjoyed the book so i got my site's title from that piece too,

the line:
Real Love in the Voice, Real Longing in the Eye, Real Sorrow in the Sigh that followed..
