it makes me want to cry

sorry, im really on a blogging spree because i dont want to study. actually, i should be asleep right now.

anyway, i was watching tv and i watched the "nagmamahal, kapamilya" show. They have this thing/promo or whatever wherein they'd give away a 1M worth of house or something to the people who really deserve and need it.

last last week, i was watching it and they featured the homes and the daily lives of the top 3 contestants.
the first contestant was a kid who wanted a house of their own or something. i dont remember, his story didn't leave much impression on me.
the second was a girl who got a mental illness who almost killed her parents and she wanted to give them a house so she can pay them back for all the love and care and understanding and whatever. it semi-striked me.
and lastly, there was this man who met an accident wherein they had to amputate his arms. his wife left him and their 4 kids. so he was a single parent. all five of them stayed only in a room smaller than the my dorm room. (and my dorm room is quite small). he had to single-handedly  take care of his family and send his kids to school. he had to do the laundry, be the cook, the tutor, the mother and the father  for the kids all at the same time-----with his arms cut off. and theyre quite impoverished. he's soo thin and he says he cant eat more than a spoonful of rice because it makes his wounds open up. i dont know if he's telling the truth or just making an excuse not to eat so that he can give more to his children.
its amazing how he does it.
so i guess, with how extensive my narration is of his lifestory, his story touched me the most. he actually made me cry. he's partly the reason why my colds and cough got worse. he made me sob. he actually made me breakdown. i dont really know why. but he was the trigger to all the sadness i was trying to keep to myself.

so anyway, im just glad he got to keep the house! yey!
(they just announced the winner tonight thats why im posting this)
they now finally have a house of their own. the sponsor also gave his kids scholarships up to high school. btw, his kids are only 10-6 yrs old. they also gave him capital to start his own business so that he can sustain the needs of his family.

im happy for him.

people like him need to be happy.

we need more people like him.

and more people like me to die. hihi.
