i sort of realized something
i was watching the game earlier between ATENEO and lasalle ( which reminds me, its new spelling is now VLSALLE)
anyway,
we won!
woooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!
but with a performance like that, will we be able to win the championship?
i hope so..
anyway,
this is what i realized:
aside from the great fact that other members of the team are stepping up.. like arao, escueta, salamat and BACLAO (I'm his fan)
ultimately, the team's backbone is chris tiu.
i think his performance determines the results of the games.
but that's just my opinion.
but come to think of it, I'm not sure if he got more than ten points but regardless of his meager contribution, he determined the game's result.
at the end of the day, it was he who made us win.
but he wasn't in his element.
clearly, he wasn't.
he couldn't shoot his treys and he just wasn't making the baskets.
by the 3rd quarter, he only had 3 or 4 points (i think)..
i wanted to hate him but i cant..
i mean with that cute and adorable sweaty face, how could i ever???
during the ateneo-nu game
(btw, nu has this cheer "SHOOT that ball" mimicking our "GET that ball")
anyway, a friend of mine watched it and she said that we lost because chris tiu was not himself. (okay, he was not not "himself"--that would make him crazy and he can never be crazy-- but rather, he was not in his element)
i don't know about the other games where we lost such as the ones against UST,FEU, UE etc..
but basing form this game and nu's game, i have come to that conclusion.
many of you may have realized that a long time ago, but forgive me, i only recently received enlightenment on this subject.
its great when everybody contributes and all but chris tiu's game is still crucial. he holds the team together and i don't know why.
what will become of us next year when he's gone?
well.. baclao is there. hehe.
so that's it.. this is nonsense but id like to share and spread nonsense stuff so that our world maybe a better place. hehe.
oh and i missed beef terriyaki.
its been months but it has dawned on me only now.
beef terriyaki is gone.
i wanted to buy food thats very very affordable
and when i looked at the beef terriyaki stall, all i saw were ribbon fries.
hahaaaaaaay..
