adventure might just be an understatement

as you all know, i am definitely not a party animal. i only break free when im with my "FRIENDS".
anyway, the thing is. i had quite an adventure last night and i find it very very VERY important for me to blog it here for my own sanity and well-being.

I have not yet been to any club or bar yet although me and some of my blockmates have been planning to. i haven't partied or anything like that but yesterday night, I entered

a GAYBAR.
you read that right. yes, a gaybar. on a weekday.
we have this project in SA (socio-anthro) wherein were supposed to conduct a study on a particular urban ethnic group such as the rasta culture, the comedy bar culture, etc etc..
my blockmates chose the gaybar culture and take note, they're not even my groupmates in this project. anyway, out of moral support and well.. curiosity, i went with them. we went to this club near GMA 7. the journey in itself of just getting to its vicinity was fun in a weird, restless way--we were nervous, very nervous.
we waited for one of our other friends at a nearby 7/11. at around 12mn, we entered. and it was funny how we entered.
anyway, one thing about gay clubs or any other club for that matter is that its very very expensive.
so, moving on, we entered and it was dark. there was a small stage in front with small small as in really small square tables surrounding it. we sat the farthest from the stage. as first timers it was also a little overwhelming when the first dancer actually went "all the waaaaaaay". the good thing was, the sounds were really really loud (we were farthest from the stage and the speakers but it hurts like hell when it gets really really loud) so we could scream our hearts out with whatever we were seeing.
it was scary. kinda. haha.
anyway, gay bars are also biased. but i understand. its a gaybar afterall. we paid 200 for entrance and the "males"  of a different sort can enter with only 105 pesos. injustice but whatever.

*okay, im getting kinda tired na with this narration and i have a quiz to study for pa.

but moving on, one thing i noticed is that they all kinda dance the same way. so when you actually get to the 2nd or 3rd hour of your stay it gets kinda boring.  unless of course they do something really out of the blue by "taking it all the way" although sometimes, you get immune to it. and you can see it in their eyes (the dancers) that what they're doing is all routinary and boring and monotonous. its boring for them too.
we, i mean they (my blockmates) got to interview a massuer. he's licensed and all.
then we were thinking if we would really "table" someone.
request to "table" someone is EXPENSIVE. sometitmes i wish i never went.
anyway, it took us awhile to really have the courage to aks the floor manager if we could talk with someone from the dancers.
we ended up doing so and with the good gutt feel of one of my blockmates, kara. we got to talk to a really warm and nice guy. who apparently is from my hometown who studied in cebu, in SAN carlos and his course? Accounting! we were amazed. so that meant he's smart! but then something happened along the way and he got to where he is now. and according to him, he likes it there because it has a good pay.
he's not my type, he's kara's type and we don't find him that handsome. he's hott.. but what really drew me to him that night was his smell. i really liked the way he smelled. i can still remember that smell now. and to think i was across the table from him and i could still smell him. and i really liked the smell. haha. just the fragrance, just the smell.

the place is not that sanitary by the way. and the dancers? they all walk aroung in fitting as in really really fitting sando and short short short short shorts. they walk around with their features realy really "defined" if you know what i mean.

definitely the dancers were all a hott. but it seemed to me that they were all makinis and its weird because they dont actually have bodily man hair int their arms, armpits and legs! they only have hair in the "all the way" area.

so there. that was my adventure last night. i might not be able to come with them in their next visit because it costsssssss alot of money and im poor. and i pretty much got all the exposure i needed.
