the ticket entry

this week was one hell of a week.. as in.. bildo!
i had 3 long tests this week. 2 last thursday and 1 today.

i was over my aunt's place during the weekend so i wasn't able to study. and so i didn't. i watched harry potter instead.

tuesday required me to wake up at 4:30 am. (take note: required).. becasue of one simple reason.. i had to wake up really early to be able to get tickets to the ADMU-dlsu game.. i HAD to.. haha! so anyway, i slept at 1am that morning.. so i only roughly hd 3 hours of sleep..
so that afternoon, instead of studying, i slept coz i tried to make up for lost sleep.

anyway, the lining up fo the tickets was really fun.. cathie and i were at school by 5am.. and when we got there, the line was really long already.. i had a 7:30 class and the ticket's release is 8:30.. so i had three hours till the tickets were released and 2 hours till class.. and my 7:30 class ends at 9.. and i had another class right after. so how was i supposed to get those tickets? hmmn..

anyway, while waiting, it was fun to see the line grow longer.. and some people did not have shade so it was really fun.. hehe..

only upper B and gen ad (general admission, the farthest, topmost part of the coliseum).. upper b is the 2nd to the last part. anyhoo, they were only selling 200 upperB tickets and the rest gen ad.. first come first served.

each student could buy 2 tickets.. and by our estimate there were at least 80 people before us and lots more who made singit. including my two blockmates na pinasingit ko with us..

so, i actually attended class and about 30 mins till the bell rings, i left class and went back in line. and more and more people made singit and the line was longer than ever.

so anyway, while waiting, a girl was counting. and then she was talking to the group behind us saying that there were 75 or so upperb tickets left and the last person who might get it is a few meters before us.. so WTF right? we definitely didnt want gen ad. might as well watch tv than get gen ad.

anyway, much to our pleasure, when it was our turn, there were only! only 5 more sets of upperB tickets (2/set)..(we were 4. me, my roomate-cati and two other blockmates) and the last set my blockmate took the 2nd to the last set and then the person after took the last. the rest-- gen ad! haha! ok.. joke..

mind you, people were already camping there by 9PM!!!!!!!! 9pm i tell you.. and then the people grew around 3am.. although most of the campers were dormers, there were still alot of people who weren't..

so there, we got upperB tickets and the 4:30 wake up time was worth it!
