i feel like posting--shounen ai
i really dig it. its crazy! i have alot of gay friends. and according to one friend, i could be such a gay magnet! haha! not that i attract gays or anything.. darn! come to think of it, i dont even attract anyone/anything(?) from the opposite sex (when i say opposite sex, its more the physical/biological aspect-- malabo pa rin? ok, so dont mind me). In a stint to a mall, i would always find/see gays. either trans or metro, they're everywhere!
anyway, i actually enjoy anything gay or by gays or gays in general. their world seems so colorful and fun. well for me at least. i know there are alot of homophobiacs out there but gays are nice. theyre only fierce because they need it to defend themselves against our cruel and judgmental world. i guess you can say that i have a heart for them although they scare me at times but not in a very negative way, more like they intimidate me because the fact is most of them are really fierce. well, with the exception of a few like a friend of mine who still hasn't been fierce enough to admit his/her true identity to his/her family. but he/she said (im tired of using he/she so ill use "it". hehe.. *peace* this doesnt mean im degrading you or gays in general.. its just too tasking to determine whether you guys should be considered a "he" or a "she". sometimes it totally messes up the whole sentence you know). it'd come clean to its family in the nearest possible future. and i do pray dearly for it's soul. (love yah friend!)
anyhoo, back to shounen ai..
just to remind you, that's if i failed to let you know earlier, ill be talking about animes.. yes, i am an anime fan already.. but i have a very narrow list of choices and favorites and my faves are those with shounen ai because it makes me laugh. plain and simple.
shounen ai is..
(少年愛? "boy-love") is a term that is applied to anime or manga that deals with love between young men, especially of the bishōnen (美少年?) variety. The genre itself dealt with romanticized but non-sexual relationships between men. The predecessor of shōnen-ai was tanbi (耽美?). [citation needed]
that is according to wikipedia.. the source and savior of all college students. well, for me at least. hehe. well basically they call it BOYxBOY or boy love boy. i think. its really fun. haha! i cant explain the feeling of watching it. but its more like comedy because i really laugh my heart out at all the scenes! its funny! i guess because i really dont get to see those kinds of "scenes" in real life or in our society which is pretty much discriminating against the third sex. its fun!
then there's yaoi.

is a publishing genre which originated in Japan and often encompasses manga, dōjinshi, anime, and fan art. It focuses on homosexual relationships between male characters and is generally sexually explicit.

im not totally into yaoi. its kinda scary.. hehe.. im innopcent you know! it corrupts my young naive mind! hehe. but seriously, it does scare me at times. but i have watched quite a few and when i get to the "serious" "physical" part, i cant help but laugh. hehe. ots weird watching it you know. but its fun! its a weird kind of fun! but i enjoy it! hehe.
but it makes me think. these guys love each other. and although one can say that these characters are fictitious, its disturbing for me. not in its moral sense but with the fact that guys can have guys! when i dont even have a BOYFRIEND! that's bad enough when i have alot of competition with all the beautiful girls around and mind you the male-female ratio of the earth' population is around 1:2 maybe even 1:3! and its adding insult to injury when the "guys" turn the other way around and look and crave for the other guys! that's toooooooo much competition for me! lol! haha! oh dear lord..
nevertheless, i love shounen ai! haha! the weird thing is when i saw this one anime about shounen ai and there were characters there who play incestious homos and everytime they do their "thing" like being romantic to each other and all there would be these girls who would say "oh! so beautiful!" they're giggling and stuff and im like "is this right? i mean these are guys doing guys for christ's sake! and ur cheering them on?" i know. i know. im insane. why would i be talking to characters of an anime right? they would never in a hundred million years be able to answer me. but whatevs. but its funny how now i find myself in their position. after all, shounen ais were created for the female audience. i dont find it "beautiful" though. i find it funny! lol! really.. but i really also enjoy it alot. its fun! you guys should try it sometime! lol!
